A fixed measuring instrument measures at its location. ENVIRO AIR shows where an activity occurs and how far it goes.

There is no data sheet for ENVIRO AIR. Thus this page gives no detection limits, masses or flight times. For a tender, we find the characteristic values for your task.
Construction
Carrier, detector and multichannel analyser
A measurement payload with a detector of your choice and a multichannel analyser on board.
- Drone, vehicle or fixed point The same measurement payload hangs below a drone, sits in a vehicle or stands at a fixed location. The mass and the power supply set the applicable carrier. We find the 2 values for each case.
- Detector for the task Scintillators such as NaI(Tl), CsI(Tl), LaBr₃ and CeBr₃, or a semiconductor detector up to high-purity germanium. The task sets the selection: resolution against response, cooling against readiness for use.
- Multichannel analyser on board You can adjust the measurement parameters. The measuring instrument records the full spectrum, not only a count value.
- Transmission during the measurement Ethernet and RS485, remote access to all measurement parameters, output of raw data and spectra in usual formats. You can adjust the measurement interval and the trigger logic. The design has provision for a connection to a mapping system.
The documentation does not give the installed detectors and their results. No measurement confirms the data in this section.
Limits
Difference to measuring instruments with a filter
ENVIRO AIR measures the gamma radiation from the environment. The measuring instrument does not collect aerosols or gaseous iodine. For the activity concentration of the air in Bq/m³, you need a measuring instrument with a filter.
