ENVIRO AIR
Gamma spectrometry as a drone payload, vehicle-mounted or fixed in place — for an overview, for mapping and for rapid situation assessment across an area.
This page reproduces the state of things so far, no more than that. Unlike the ENVIRO GO and the two cabin stations, there is at present no product description with substantiated figures for ENVIRO AIR. The details here come from the previous website; they are confirmed neither by a measurement nor by a data sheet.
As long as that is the case, we state no detection limits, no masses and no flight times here. If you need dependable figures for a tender, ask us — then we will establish what the instrument actually achieves in your task.
Measuring across an area instead of at one point
A fixed instrument answers the question at its own location. ENVIRO AIR is meant for the other question: where something is and how far it reaches.

One carrier, one detector, one multichannel analyser
All the details in this section come from the previous website. Which detectors were actually fitted, and with what result, is not documented.
What ENVIRO AIR is not
Flying over an area and drawing in air are two different tasks. ENVIRO AIR measures the gamma radiation from its surroundings — it collects neither aerosols nor gaseous iodine. If you need the activity concentration of the air in Bq/m³, you need an instrument with a filter.
ENVIRO AIR
- Gamma spectrometry from the surroundings
- Across an area, coupled to position data
- No sampling, no filter
- Details from the previous website
ENVIRO GO
- Aerosols and gaseous iodine at the filter pad
- Alpha, beta and gamma spectrometry
- Result in Bq/m³ to ISO 11929
- To the ENVIRO GO page
Tell us which area and which nuclide
For a sound conversation, the size of the area, the nuclide being looked for, the required spatial resolution and the carrier you intend to use are enough.
