Capabilities

Five fields, one modular system.

The same plant underneath, a different requirement on top. What changes is the medium, the temperature and the test item — not the way it is built.

What are you testing?

The five fields in detail

The figures state the range we have built in or are designed for — not a commitment for a particular project.

01 Fluids Heat pumps and refrigeration Compressor in the refrigeration circuit Performance maps over source and sink temperature, defrost cycles, unattended night operation, end-of-line testing in series production. Including R290 and CO₂, with the extraction and gas detection that go with them. 4,21Coefficient of performance COP · B0/W35 To this field 02 Fluids · Electrical Data centre cooling and chip emulator Electrically heated surface as the heat source Cold plate, manifold, quick coupling and CDU. The emulator stands in for the processor: an electrically heated surface that applies the same heat flux density over the same area — with load steps in tenths of a second instead of an averaged continuous load. 184Heat flux density · W/cm² To this field 03 Electrical Power electronics Liquid-cooled register Power cycling to AQG 324, Zth measurement to JESD51-14, double-pulse testing. Deionised water circuits with monitored conductivity, because a coolant carrying ions has no business inside a converter. 0,213Thermal resistance Rth · K/W To this field 04 Fluids Media conditioning Control valve with actuator Temperature, pressure, flow rate and humidity as the boundary condition of a test — from a mobile unit up to a containerised plant. Eight media, adaptive control, a record for every test run. ±0,04Control deviation, flow · K To this field 05 Nuclear · Environment Environmental Solutions Detector with scintillation crystal Gamma spectrometry and continuous monitoring of radioactive aerosols and gases. Fixed in a cabin, mobile in the field, high resolution in the laboratory — with the evaluation and the record from the same house. 661,7Photopeak Cs-137 · keV To this area

What sets them apart

Five rows that show why there are five fields and not one.

FieldMediumTest itemTypical test
Heat pumps and refrigeration Air, brine, water-glycol, refrigerants — including R290 and CO₂ Heat pump, chiller, compressor Performance map over source and sink, defrost cycles, end-of-line
Data centre cooling Water, water-glycol Cold plate, manifold, coupling, CDU Heat flux density up to 200 W/cm², load steps, mating cycles with leak rate
Power electronics Water-glycol, deionised water with monitored conductivity Power module, converter, heat sink Power cycling, Zth measurement, double pulse
Media conditioning Water-glycol, oil, fuel, brine, air and gases whatever has to be supplied — the plant is the boundary condition holding and recording temperature, pressure, flow rate and humidity
Environmental SolutionsAir, aerosols, noble gases, water samplesMeasuring station, detector, samplingGamma spectrometry, continuous monitoring, detection limit

The fields overlap. A test bench for power modules needs the same conditioning as one for cold plates — which is why media conditioning stands beside the others as a field of its own, not beneath them.

Tell us what is to be measured.

Five details are enough for a first solid conversation: the test item, the medium, the ranges for pressure, flow rate and temperature, where the plant will stand and when it has to be there.
